Swoon Heidi

Today,  I have Heidi, a FREE Swoon  Sewing pattern fold-over clutch. It released too long ago and I’m embarrassed by my tardiness.

Heidi is very fast to make-about an hour-ish. If you have a few sewing projects under your belt and have sewn a zipper, you can easily make Heidi. She has a main zipper compartment and another zipper on the back side .  I used bag zipper for the main compartment and an all purpose zipper for the back pocket.   The inside is blank, but you could add another zipper pocket inside as well, or even slip pockets.

I used Tula Pink  Eden fabric as the outside of both of my clutches.  The interior is random scraps I had lying around.
Both clutch sizes include the bottom accent piece. I use the large size to carry my ballet shoes to class.  My ballet shoes do fit in the small size but I can’t fold the clutch over with them in it.  The large size allows my shoes to sit horizontally so I can fold over the top.  The exterior pocket is perfect for my phone and keys while I’m in class.

I did mention Heidi is a FREE pattern, right? And a perfect freebie she is!
