Sisboom released their next girls pattern: Kelsey
Now through June 1st, the pattern is $7.50 then it raises to the regular price of $9.95.
Kelsey is a faux cross over front bodice and a crisscross bias strap back.
It can be a tunic, tea length dress, or maxi. All with or without a bottom ruffle.
Sizes: 3 months to 14 years
Chest Measurement: 16.75″ to 31.5″
Kelsey includes an elastic back for easy size adjustment
Cookie’s dress is quilting cotton and Bees is knit!
For the knit dress, I interfaced exterior and interior pieces of the bodice. If you used a thicker knit, you could probably get away with only interfacing the exterior pieces.
Another change I made with the knit dress is using fold over elastic for the straps. Just keep in mind that elastic stretches SO much more than bias tape, so you will need to cut it several inches shorter than the bias tape length measurement.
My girls pick out their Kelsey’s from the clean laundry basket as soon as I pull them out of the dryer. The dresses are a HUGE hit for both of them. Totally rare!
Best yet, Kelsey takes only about an hour to sew and perfect for a beginner.
AND each size is only 2 pages to print. Money in the bank!
Grab Kelsey and get to sewing!
